A few months ago, I started with the crazy idea to build a real app to improve the management of fake screens. Thanks in large part to Ilse, Ruth and Stijn, who convinced me to make the jump.
The problem the project set out to solve was providing on-set Props Masters the right tools to control what happens on an actor's phone, reliably and from a distance. In a beautiful simulated OS design without clearance restrictions.
What started as an improvised app idea for a single production, turned into a professional, multi-account (and now App Store published!) set of 2 sibling apps: the Props Controller and Prop Player.
Now that the apps are being used on real-life production sets and are downloadable on any iPhone, I've taken the next big step by teaming up with Diederik. We've created SetOps so we can offer professional support to the amazing Props Masters that trust our apps.
